Seattle Print Arts' 3rd Biennial Juried Exhibition
Seattle Print Arts presents: “Print! Seattle Print Arts 3rd Biennial Juried Exhibition”. October 6th through November 15th, 2007
Kittredge Gallery University of Puget Sound in Tacoma
Opening Saturday October 6th, 5-7pm.
This year we are pleased to welcome as a juror Sarah Suzuki. Suzuki is the Sue and Eugene Mercy , Jr. Assistant Curator of Prints and Illustrated Books at the Museum of Modern Art, New York. She has worked on numerous exhibitions, collective initiatives, and publications at the museum over the last nine years, and is currently organizing “Projects 86: Gert and Uwe Tobias” for the fall of 2007. Seattle Print Arts received submissions from 78 artists; Ms. Suzuki selected 45 pieces by 25 artists. She said, “The quality of submissions was exceptionally high, necessitating careful consideration and making for a very difficult selection process. In the end, thematic strands guided the choice of works in an effort to make a cohesive exhibition that still demonstrates the wide variety of techniques and approaches to the medium.” We hope you will join Seattle Print Arts as we welcome juror Friday October 5, 7:00 pm Saturday, October 6, 5:00-7:00 |

In conjunction with the upcoming exhibition PRINT! Seattle Print Arts 3rd Biennial Juried Exhibition, Seattle Print Arts presents Prints from Seattle Print Arts’ Portfolio Exchanges 2000–2006. An amazing assembly of over 120 artworks by 85 artists will be exhibited together in their entirety, for the first time ever.
