The award will provide a stipend of $2,000 to produce new work or to support a project in progress. The selected artist will be determined by the artistic excellence of the work presented in the application, juried by a panel of arts professionals. The selected artist, or artist team, is required to present a talk about their work, scheduled at their convenience, to the Seattle Print Arts membership. The first $1,000 will be awarded when the artist is selected. The remaining $1,000 will be awarded after the artist's presentation. The presentation may take the form of an online video if travel to Seattle is not possible. In addition to the monetary award, the chosen artist will receive a one-year Seattle Print Arts membership.
