There is a new small printmaking studio in Ballard; Dead End Press.

We are looking for a few renters so if you need printing equipment and want to be part of a small dynamic and new community, here is what we have:

1 - Conrad press 18" x 36"
1 - Ettan 24" x 48" motorized (for now)
Tables (Glass and regular)
Flat files
Paper, soaking, drying and flatting.

The studio has a full kitchen, which renters are free to use. Available for 24 hour access. Renters will have a flat file, a tote, and part of a shelf of their paper and tools.

Month to Month ($120) and 3 month ($100) commitment levels. $15 winter heating costs.

Studio DOES NOT HAVE AN ETCHING TANK, or screenprinting exposure unit. Very non-toxic. Vegetable oil and simple green.

Litho Stones For Sale

I am selling two lithography stones that were originally used in early 20th-century Seattle to print business forms and financial documents for multiple Northwest firms. They are between 90- and 98-years old. Both are double-sided.

I'm asking $125 each.

The stones are located in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood.

Stone One
Dimensions: 9 7/8” x 11 7/8” x 3 1/8” thick
