Local artist Phil Stoiber invites the community to experience AS I AM, 1956–Present, a retrospective exhibition surveying nearly seven decades of creative work and artistic exploration.

The exhibition is on view throughout May 2026 at Gallery 4500, located in the University Business Center, Suite 300, 4500 Ninth Ave NE, Seattle. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

A special Closing Reception will take place on Friday, May 15, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, in conjunction with the U District Art Walk.

At 7:00 PM, Phil will present an artist talk titled: “Seventeen Minutes: 2nd Grade to 77th Year with a Short Attention Span”

During the talk, Phil will reflect on his lifelong love of art, the inspirations behind his work, and the creative journey that has shaped his practice over the past 70 years.

The final opportunity to view the exhibition will be Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 11:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
